Superstar English teacher wanted!

Are you an excellent English teacher?  Do you enjoy creating original and inspiring resources and lessons for your students?  Are you interested in being paid to spend some time better understanding the new GCSE English specification?

At LDPL, we believe that all students should have access to the best learning resources.  That’s why we are building a web-based, adaptive learning platform that supports learners by recommending the best topics for them to study next.  At the same time, we support educators by providing them with access to excellent resources and data insights into their students’ learning.

We are looking for superstar teachers with experience teaching English at GCSE and KS3 level to create original, exciting content for our online learning platform.

Required skills:

  • Recent experience teaching English at GCSE level
  • A passion for creating engaging resources for students
  • A belief in the power of technology to support learners and educators

Numeracy and literacy teacher wanted!

We are looking for superstar teachers with experience teaching literacy and numeracy at KS2 level to create original, exciting content for our online learning platform. There will also be the opportunity to visit our schools and train teachers and students on how to make the most of the LDPL platform.

  • Recent experience teaching literacy and numeracy at KS2 level
  • A passion for creating engaging resources for students
  • A belief in the power of technology to support learners and educators

Content Design Intern

The Company

LDPL is an adaptive learning platform that combines artificial intelligence, data science & cognitive neuroscience to deliver a game-changing education. Artificial intelligence technology provides students with a personalised learning path that recommends the best topics to study next. At the same time, the platform automates routine tasks such as, marking formative assessments, managing data and setting & tracking homework, freeing teachers to focus on what matters most: teaching.

The aim of the internship

The Design Team at LDPL Tech are looking for a new member to join them to help with the production of graphics and creation of short videos, both to be uploaded as content to the company’s adaptive learning platform. This is critical for the successful implementation of LDPL in schools for the next school year. LDPL Tech is currently enjoying great success, with several new schools signed up to begin using the platform in September; you would be joining a fast paced, fast growth start-up!

Activities, duties and responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the generation of graphics for slideshows and videos which make up content
  • Creating videos using video editing software such as iMovie
  • Assisting in product development
  • Experience using the platform and making suggestions regarding improvements, adjustments and new features.

Required skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Experience editing videos and creating digital graphics
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with regards to using video-editing software (such as iMovie or any other)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Confident presenting own ideas and working fairly independently

Curriculum Team Intern

The Curriculum Team at LDPL Tech are looking for a new member to join them to help with the design, creation and management of content for the company’s adaptive learning platform. This is critical for the successful implementation of LDPL in schools for the next school year. LDPL Tech is currently enjoying great success, with several new schools signed up to begin using the platform in September; you would be joining a fast paced, fast growth start-up!

Activities, duties and responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the creation of KS2 and KS4 level content on subject(s) relevant to the successful applicant
  • Uploading digital content to the platform
  • Curriculum mapping
  • Assisting in product development
  • Using the platform and making suggestions regarding improvements, adjustments and new features.

Required skills, experience and qualifications:  

  • A graduate (at least 2:1 classification) or a current undergraduate student in any year (on track to achieve at least a 2:1), in a scientific, mathematical or English-related discipline
  • A comprehensive understanding (to at least A-level or equivalent) of one or more of the following subjects: Mathematics,Chemistry, Physics, Biology, English Language, English Literature
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to analyse information and distill to the most important points
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent computer skills (we predominantly use the Google Suite)
  • Confident presenting own ideas and working fairly independently
